About The Role

An opportunity exists for a Civil Services Coordinator join our Narrabri team. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the earthworks and associated civil activities at Narrabri Coal mine

Reporting to the Engineering and Surface Operations Manager you will specifically be responsible for : 

  • Complying with the Health and safety management system and plans
  • Providing drilling operators with access roads for continuity of exploration
  • Constructing and maintaining all weather arterial roads
  • Coordination of rehabilitation
  • Coordination of equipment to site
  • Supervision of daily activities
  • Coordinating civil projects
  • Driving performance improvement from contractors
  • Liaison with other departments

About You or Skills / Experience

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications, experience and qualities:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering(Preferred) or
  • Qualification in Civil Construction
  • Cert IV in Project management(desirable)
  • Experience in management of civil construction
  • Experience in undertaking civil activities
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • High level of problem solving ability
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
